Mark WymanPrior to the merger with The Fleisher Company late in 2005, Mark served as director and a principal shareholder of The Real Estate Specialists, exercising his extensive real estate brokerage and investment expertise on behalf of clients and friends of the firm. During the firm’s 6 year affiliation with Prudential Real Estate Affiliates, Mark earned both the Chairman’s Circle and President’s Circle awards for distinguished performance placing him in the top 3% and 5% of Prudential real estate brokers nation-wide.

Between 1983 and 1993 Mark served as President of a real estate investment & advisory company active in the western U.S. amassing, managing and servicing client portfolios comprised of over 100 properties and valued at in excess of $500 million. While with the advisory company, Mark was also the COO for an American Stock Exchange real estate investment trust (REIT) which sought, owned and operated institutional grade investment properties.

Beginning his real estate career in 1977, Mark joined a major national multi-family real estate development and investment company. Later, he was chosen to help launch and serve as the Director of Operations for the Commercial Investment Property Division of the company. While serving in that capacity, the company acquired, developed, leased and disposed of properties in the process of assembling a nationally recognized portfolio. Today that company owns and manages commercial investment properties valued at in excess of $5 billion. While with that company, in 1980, Mark participated in California's largest single real estate transaction of that year ($138 million) involving a pair of showcase office towers in Century City, California.

In addition to his involvement in national industry groups, Mark has been a guest lecturer at Stanford University's Graduate School of Business on two occasions and is an alumnus of Leadership Aspen for the Roaring Fork Valley. Mark is a Real Estate Broker licensed by the Real Estate Commission of the State of Colorado. Before starting his career in real estate over 25 years ago, Mark earned a B.S. Degree from Rochester Institute of Technology.

Since moving to Colorado in 1993 Mark has been an active member of the Roaring Fork Valley community. Mark has served in the capacities of: Planning & Zoning Commissioner, founding member and Vice-Chair of the Economic Development Council, Director of the Carbondale Affordable Housing Corporation, and, Director of the Carbondale Chamber of Commerce and presently serves as Treasurer of the Rotary Club of Aspen, as National Council Member of Aspen Youth Experience, and as a Mentor to CMC students studying business.

In addition to his professional and volunteer commitments, Mark continues to search for the perfectly carved turn, a 10 handicap, the completion of the restoration of his family’s Victorian-era summer cottage on Squirrel Island in Maine, and for ways to be a more complete family member and friend.
